This offering is for a new-old-stock Shimano CS HG-90 cassette (7-speed) with 14-16-18-21-24-28-32 gearing. This is an older cassette unit... Early 90's vintage to be exact, but it is HyperGlide compatible, as the shift ramps, etc.
That are characteristic of HyperGlide cassettes are easily identifiable on this unit. It is also a higher-end unit, as the HG-90 cassettes were typically compatible with (and considered equivalents to) Shimano 600/Ultegra or Deore XT drivetrain components.
The rear hub spacing for these cassettes, because they are of the 7-speed variety, is most likely 126 mm for a road bike. Although, because of it's tall gears, I understand it may be better suited for a mountain bike. If this is the case, then the rear hub spacing will be 130 mm or 135 mm. We also measured the "stack height" (for lack of a better term) of this cassette and noted it to be about 34 mm (using our digital calipers). We thought this additional measurement would help ensure compatibility, should you want to measure the width of the intended splined freehub body and compare it to our measurement.
Also, please note that six of the sprockets will come to you already attached (riveted) together and properly aligned for optimal Hyperglide shifting. Additionally, the one loose sprocket includes a built-in spacer and one narrow loose spacer (to be placed between the 13T and 15T cogs), so there are not too many pieces to keep track of while installing on a freehub (and this loose sprocket is easy to align as well since the Hyperglide freehub has one spline that is a different width from the others, so the sprocket can only "mount" one way). The standard HG-90 threaded lockring, as pictured, is also included. As for condition, this cassette unit is new and unused...
